Target Audience
Managers and knowledge base administrators who will be using ATG Knowledge to build a knowledge-based customer service or support organization.
Prerequisites
Students in this course should understand the principles of knowledge based call center.
Overview
This course provides an overview of how to use ATG Knowledge to meet your service and support organization's business needs. You will first get a hands-on view of how call center agents interact with ATG Knowledge to search and modify the knowledge base. Then you will learn how to set up specialized workflows to meet your organization's business needs, and how to use the robust Knowledge security model to make sure that the right people see the right information. You will also learn how to define custom structures for your knowledge (solution classes). All course material is reinforced through hands-on exercises using a model ATG Knowledge server.
Target Audience
Business users and content developers who will be using ATG Content Administration to create, edit, and approve content for an ATG-driven Web site.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course. Students may find the Using ATG Scenarios course helpful.
Overview
This course teaches students how to use ATG Content Administration to manage content for their ATG site. Students learn how to create projects, create and edit assets inside of a project, move a project through the approval process, deploy projects to their staging and production environments, and test those changes on the target environments. Through hands-on demonstrations and exercises, students learn how to handle different kinds of content, such as HTML pages, images, database-driven content, and ATG-specific features such as scenarios and profile groups.
