Colorado River Floating Raft - FULL

Set the clock back 200,000 years on this beautiful floating raft trip. It takes you through one of the Colorado River's most scenic canyons. The adventure starts at the base of Hoover Dam. You'll drift and motor for 11 serene miles through the majestic cliffs of Black Canyon; a glorious stretch of beauty, free of rapids. The trip is fully narrated and navigated by experienced river guides.

See desert bighorn sheep, wild burros, and a variety of water fowl. Discover incredible sights in the warm springs bubbling out of the cliffs overhead, waterfalls, geological formations, and moss covered beaches. This stretch of the Colorado River is accessible only by boat.

Golf

Join us at the nearby Tuscany Golf Club in Henderson, NV. It combines generous fairways, the finest large, undulating greens, sparkling white bunkers, and subtle yet challenging holes to create a very enjoyable par 72 course.

Hiking Tour

Guided hiking to hot springs in the scenic River Mountains overlooking Lake Mead, the Las Vegas Valley, Boulder Basin, and the Eldorado Basin. Explore in White Rock Canyon, a strikingly beautiful volcanic area. This canyon gets its name from a huge white boulder that was carried down the canyon by a flash flood. You'll make your way through narrow slot canyons, keeping watch for ancient Indian rock art and petroglyphs on the steep cliff faces. Desert Bighorn Sheep make their home in the canyon, and are often spotted roaming lazily on the hillsides and sharp edges.

Discover amazing hot springs, full of healthy minerals and holding its own healing properties. Sit and soak as a sliver of sky peeks through the roof of the canyon, gently blanketing you with rays of sunlight.

Finish off this remarkable wilderness adventure with a nice view of Lake Mead and the Colorado River while passing over the Hoover Dam.

Hoover Dam Tour

Hoover Dam, without precedent the greatest construction of its day, is today still viewed in awe and acclaimed as one of the seven man-made wonders of the world. Truly a magnificent monument to man's vision and creativity and a must-see for even the frequent traveler. The dam was completed in 1936, forming the world's largest man-made reservoir, Lake Mead. Officially named Hoover Dam in 1947 after President Herbert Hoover, it stretches 1,244 feet across the Colorado River and rises 44 stories above the river bottom.

Off-Road Red Rock Vistas Expedition Tour

Witness spectacular scenery as you get off the beaten path and see the desert with its rugged beauty--in a four-wheel drive vehicle! This is the perfect opportunity to see the desert as the early explorers did when they crossed the country in covered wagons. The mystery of the settlers that were here hundreds of years ago is recorded on cliff walls in the form of rock art and petroglyphs. Experience the spectacular desert scenery, flourishing wildlife, and beautiful desert plants and cacti. Several new and exciting trails await you throughout the Las Vegas Valley and beyond.

You'll encounter obstacles such as boulder-choked washes, hairpin turns, narrow passages, and steep cliffs. You'll also have time for short hikes, rock climbing, and photo shooting.

Luxury by the pool

If you're more a lounger than an adventurer, this is the perfect activity for you. Enjoy a restful and rejuvenating afternoon by the pool at the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa. Be our guest and help yourself to refreshments served from a poolside cabana. Soak in the warming desert sun while catching up and sharing perspectives with other conference attendees. You'll tan, rested, and ready for the evening gala.
