ATG Commerce Platform Developer Certification

Demonstrate your ATG expertise with ATG certification. Certification provides a strong competitive advantage for ATG Alliance developers. You can offer your clients a measurement of your ATG development capabilities and the assurance that you can meet their most demanding expectations. Similarly, we encourage ATG customers to become certified, demonstrating your ability to develop ATG-based solutions.

As of January 2010, ATG will offer and recognize a single certification: the ATG Certified Commerce Platform Developer. Candidates must pass 2 individual exams to achieve this certification:

• ATG Platform Fundamentals Developer Exam *new exam for 2010*
• ATG Commerce Developer Exam

The first exam tests your expertise with ATG Commerce Platform foundations, including the Dynamo Application Framework, the ATG Adaptive Scenario Engine and ATG Content Administration. The second assesses your proficiency with ATG Commerce, including both consumer and business to business tools and concepts.

The exams measure proficiency with ATG from an implementation perspective, and set professional standards for ATG application development. Each exam consists of multiple-choice questions covering implementation design and solution development skills and knowledge that are critical to working with the ATG Commerce Platform.

ATG Platform Fundamentals Developer Exam

The ATG Platform Fundamentals Developer exam is a brand new test, replacing the former ATG Platform exam. It verifies proficiency with the technologies and capabilities of the base ATG development platform, including ATG Content Administration.

Note that taking and passing this new exam is mandatory to achieve ATG Commerce Platform Developer Certification.

Special limited-time offer: for anyone who took and passed the former ATG Platform Developer Exam in the 2009 calendar year, take the new Platform Fundamentals exam at no charge between January and July 18, 2010. Registration Information

• The fee for each exam is $150 USD, payable via all major credit cards.
• ATG Certification exams are offered online, from the convenience of your office or home. The internet-based testing is hosted and administered by Thomson Prometric.
