ATG Launches Partner Early Access Program for ATG Commerce Suite 9.1
Partners Preparing for General Availability
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - June 15, 2009 - (Art Technology Group, Inc., NASDAQ:
ARTG), the premier provider of e-commerce solutions, today announced the launch of ATG's
Early Access Program, designed to provide the company's global implementation partners with
advance product access and training on future releases. By arming valued partners with the skills and technical knowledge necessary to help
joint customers take full advantage of new features and capabilities built into ATG Commerce
Suite, those customers will enjoy shorter implementation timelines and lower costs.
"The ATG Early Access Program will allow our partners to hit the ground running and
help our customers take advantage of the latest capabilities in the ATG Commerce Suite. The
program will allow partners extra time to familiarize themselves with the upcoming release
prior to launch," said Bill Zujewski, vice president of product marketing, ATG. "ATG
is committed to rapid and continuous technology innovation to drive cross-channel commerce.
Early feedback from partners helps shape product roadmap and guide implementation
efforts."
Global services firm Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE - News), a long-standing ATG partner, is one of the first companies to
participate in the ATG Early Access Program.
"We have a long history of working with ATG to build successful e-commerce
businesses for our clients, stated Chris Davey, senior vice president, Sapient's Global
Cross-Channel Commerce Practice. "Receiving early access to new version releases of the
ATG Commerce Suite will benefit both Sapient and our clients by giving us the early preparation
and enablement we need to provide high quality implementations on the latest ATG releases, and
to do so both on time and on budget."
The ATG Commerce Suite
is a comprehensive, flexible, highly scalable e-commerce solution that drives
every phase of a personalized online shopping experience. By making shopping and buying more
personal and fulfilling for consumers, ATG's cross-channel commerce capabilities yield higher
conversion rates and order sizes. ATG enables merchants to centrally manage content, catalogs,
and promotions to orchestrate customer experiences across channels. ATG Commerce Suite 9.1
enhances these merchandising capabilities, aligning merchant controls more closely with the way
merchandisers manage catalogs, content, offers, and campaigns. It also includes new features
that enable more cost effective and efficient implementations and integrations, new REST API's,
which simplify integration with other applications as well as with newer user interface
technologies like Adobe(R) Flex(R) and Flash(R) and other applications.
Available at the end of July 2009, ATG Commerce Suite 9.1 also enhances Commerce Service
Center, ATG's personalized, integrated customer service application. Enhancements to this
application include a stronger cross-channel foundation for applications in the agent center,
on mobile devices, and in customer kiosks at physical stores.
