Dan Regis
Chairman of the Board
Audit Committee


Dan Regis is currently managing director of Digital Partners, a venture capital fund specializing in Northwest emerging technology companies, which he co-founded in 2000. From 1996 to 1999, he was president of Kirlan Venture Capital, Inc., where he managed similarly focused and highly successful technology funds. Prior to that, Regis spent 32 years with Price Waterhouse LLP, including serving as managing partner of the Seattle office and previously of the northwest and Portland, Oregon offices. Beginning in the early 1980's, he led and became one of the firm's "Technology Champions" and was instrumental in raising the firm into a position of prominence in that arena in the northwest. Regis is a director of publicly held Columbia Banking System Inc. (COLB) and Cray Inc. (CRAY) and chairman of privately-held Fios, Inc.

Bob Burke
President and Chief Executive Officer


A 25 year industry veteran, Bob Burke drives ATG's market leadership and long-term growth as president, chief executive officer, and member of the board of directors.

Prior to joining ATG, Burke held a number of senior executive and leadership positions. While at Digital Equipment Corporation (Digital), he headed up Digital's billion-dollar Systems Integration business with operations in over 45 countries. During his career at Digital, Burke also led the creation and delivery of large-scale enterprise application solutions - including strategic partnerships, and product development and deployment within thousands of customer sites throughout the world. After leaving Digital, Burke served as president of ePresence Solutions, where he helped integrate several firms into ePresence, Inc. (formerly Banyan Systems) and rapidly grew the company's solutions business. Most recently, Burke served as CEO of Quidnunc, where he led Quidnunc's return to profitability and its focus on the customer relationship management market.

Burke holds a bachelor of science in physics from Eastern Michigan University.

Michael Brochu
Compensation Committee


Michael Brochu is CEO of GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.), a global market intelligence solutions provider. Previously, he was president and CEO of Loudeye Corporation, a global leader of digital music platforms and digital media distribution services, acquired by Nokia in 2006. Before Loudeye, he was president and CEO of Primus Knowledge Solutions, Inc., an award-winning provider of e-service software solutions. In 1999, Brochu took Primus public, and the company was acquired by ATG in 2004. Brochu was also president and COO of Sierra On-Line Inc. where he spearheaded efforts that increased sales by more than 300 percent for one of the world's largest publishers of interactive entertainment, educational, and home productivity software. Brochu currently serves on the board of directors of GMI, ATG, and Emphysis Medical Management. He also participates on the advisory board for Voyager Capital.

David Elsbree
Chairperson, Audit Committee


David Elsbree has been a member of the board of directors since June 2004. Elsbree has over 30 years of experience, specializing in the high technology industry since 1984. He serves many complex software and technology companies. He has significant experience with initial public offerings, secondary offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. Elsbree has served in a number of leadership roles in the firm's high technology practice, including as partner-in-charge of the New England High Technology Practice. Elsbree has been a member of the firm's High Technology Industry Executive Committee and served on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts High Technology Council. Elsbree is currently active in the Massachusetts Software and Internet Council, and has been a member of the board and currently serves as the treasurer of the New England Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Elsbree has been a frequent speaker on the requirements and impact of Sarbanes - Oxley. He is the originator of Deloitte & Touche's New England Technology Fast 50 Program.

Rob Held
Compensation Committee;  Nominating and Governance Committee


Rob Held has been a member of the board of directors since July 2002. Held brings a strong executive background that includes tenure as president and CEO of Massachusetts-based Chipcom Corporation. During his time at Chipcom, Held guided the company through seven years of 70 percent annual growth, taking it from annual revenues of $6.7 million to $268 million. Under Held's leadership, Chipcom went public in 1991 and eventually grew its value to a $900 million market cap. Prior to his time at Chipcom, Held served in a variety of different management positions during a 14-year period at Genrad Inc.

Ilene H. Lang
Nominating and Governance Committee


Ilene H. Lang has been a member of the board of directors since October 2001. Lang currently serves as president of Catalyst Inc., the leading nonprofit focused on women's advancement in business and the professions. Lang was the founding CEO of AltaVista Internet Software Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Digital Equipment Corporation and the company that commercialized the highly popular AltaVista Internet search service. Prior to AltaVista, Lang was senior vice president of the Desktop Business Group at Lotus Development Corporation. More recently, she served as president and CEO of Individual.com, Inc. and as CEO of Essential.com. She also serves on the board of directors of Adaptec Corporation, the Tufts Health Plan, and Catalyst.

Mary Makela
Audit Committee;  Chairperson, Compensation Committee


Mary Makela has been a member of the board of directors since July 2002. Makela has had a long career in the fields of sales, marketing, and alliances. Following a 17-year tenure at IBM, she became president of Cognos Corporation, where she was responsible for the company's $40 million U.S. operation. From Cognos, Makela went on to head North American sales at Computer Corporation of America. She then took over as CEO and president of IMC Systems Group Inc., an integrated software and services vendor, where she was brought in to strategically reposition the company and its products. Makela currently serves as president of MEM Associates, a consultancy that provides strategic support to high-level executives on a range of business, marketing, and sales issues.

Phyllis Swersky

Phyllis S. Swersky has been a member of the ATG board of directors since May 2000. She is currently the president of The Meltech Group, a company that provides business advisory services to executive management teams at growing companies. Previously she served as vice president, chief financial officer, and executive committee member for Cullinet Software, a trailblazer in the software industry. Swersky also serves on the board of directors for Circles Inc. and oversees the chair and finance committee of Northeastern University.
