Who is eligible to compete?
Entrants that have received significant external funding (greater than $100K) are not eligible to enter the competition. Employees of Art Technology Group, Inc. ("ATG") or its affiliates, competition volunteers, and any immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of any of the foregoing are not eligible.
How do I submit an entry?
To enter the competition, each individual or team must submit a completed Competition Submission form. Entrants may submit questions via email at: ingenuity@atg.com.
What is the deadline for submitting?
All entries must be received by 5:00 pm ET on Wednesday, February 14, 2008.
What does the winner receive?
The winning team or individual will be awarded a prize of $50,000 in cash. After the winner is announced, a second-place "People's Choice" winner will receive $10,000 in cash as a result of a public vote on the company's blog, "e-Commerce Insights," http://www.ecommerceinsights.com.
Please note, the overall winner of the ATG e-Commerce Ingenuity Business Plan Competition will NOT be eligible to win the "People's Choice" prize.

The winners will be announced and awarded the prizes during ATG's annual user-conference, ATG Insight Live 2008, to be held in Boston, April 27-30, 2008.

Why is ATG hosting a business plan competition?
Since the early 1990's, ATG has greatly influenced the way companies conduct business online and has introduced technology that influences the way people search for, discover, and purchase products and services on the Web. With the launch of the e-Commerce Ingenuity Business Plan Competition, ATG is providing an outlet for new voices to share their own ideas about the next generation of e-commerce. The contest itself and prizes awarded will help these new voices share their ideas and grow closer to fully realizing them.
