An ATG best practice in working with Partners during their implementation of ATG’s product suite is to leverage ATG Professional Services through a “structured enablement” model. The goal of the structured enablement model is to help our partners best leverage ATG resources.
In this model, the project’s prime contractor, either the client or an ATG alliance partner, engages subject matter experts (SMEs) from ATG’s Professional Services organization at critical points in the engagement lifecycle. SME’s can support specific aspects of the project, where their detailed product knowledge can add unique value. Typical areas where ATG PS is involved include Architecture, Content Administration Review, Application Code Review and Deployment. The prime contractor should work with ATG PS as early as possible to define a custom approach based on the project requirements, timelines and products being implemented.
